Rent is due the first of each month. Payment by electronic fund transfer (FedWire or ACH) only, we prefer not to handle checks manually.
Starting in 2023, we now offer convenient and cost-effective ACH direct debit; contact us and we will send you the form to sign to authorise direct debit, and we will get you set up in a few days. Bank account verification required as per NACHA rules. Don't worry, it is easy, we will guide you.
Minimum lease duration is one year; penalties apply if lease is terminated earlier, except in case of force majeure.
Your name, email, phone number, previous address (the one before you move into our property) and next address (the one you move to after moving out are shared with our lawyer and property manager, Jacob Sebag & Associates PC, in order to prepare your lease contract.
The building managers require that we submit your data for approval before the lease is effective. Your data is thus sent to them. You will get a copy of the filled in forms before we send them, so that you can see what is shared with them. Details vary from one building to the next.
